Practise manager appointed

Female flair is becoming a characteristic of local solicitors practice Chenery Maher on Church Street in Clitheroe, but there’s nothing girly about this team of top players. New recruit Nicola Bradbury has stepped into the role of practice manager, bringing with her a range of impressive financial, software and administration skills.

Led by partners Carol Maher and Irene Chenery with their notable set of legal credentials the practise is steadily gaining a reputation for its forward thinking approach to championing their clients. Teamed up with Janet Helme of Purple Willow estate agents to provide seamless conveyancing under the same roof they make a formidable team.

Nicola Bradbury

The partners have taken on Nicola Bradbury to manage the growing practice and continue to move it forward at the cutting edge. She is a chartered accountant trained by top 20 firm, Hacker Young, in Nottingham. Since qualifying ten years ago Nicola has been the Finance Director of the Blackpool Grand and subsequently financial controller of Via Networks UK Ltd, as well as bringing up her two boys.

“I’m looking forward to working with the other women here”, explains Nicola, “the practice is very busy and growing in terms of its profile. It will be up to me to ensure that the support structure is there for it to continue to grow and for us to capitalise on our position at the forefront of family law, wills and probate and conveyancing work in the area”.
