Chenery Maher welcomes counsellor
Families and individuals facing personal and relationship challenges will now be able to find help and support in terms of both counselling and legal help under one roof.
Lancashire solicitors practice Chenery Maher has allocated rooms within its Clitheroe premises for independent counsellor Jayne Walker to establish her own support service.
Jayne has worked for many years as a counsellor for Relate and now provides a valuable source of emotional and practical help for clients of Chenery Maher as well as other solicitors and local GPs in the area. Anyone seeking support through a difficult time in their life can contact Jayne direct to make an appointment.
Carol Maher who owns the firm of solicitors with practice partner Irene Chenery, explains “In welcoming Jayne here we are effectively providing our clients with an in-house counsellor which fits well with our holistic approach to family law here. It sits nicely with our specialist legal skills and the mediation aspects of our work.”
Jayne helps bereaved clients visiting the practice for legal support with probate issues as well as those who are contemplating or experiencing the breakdown of a relationship.
Children of parents going through separation or divorce are able to benefit from professional and caring counselling support in the peaceful and pleasant surroundings of the Church Street offices.
